Mountain biking and cycling in the Àger area
The Montsec – La Noguera Mountain Bike Centre serves three municipalities (Àger, Les Avellanes i Santa Linya and Os de Balaguer) and is presided over by the Montsec mountain range with 490 km of perfectly signposted mountain bike paths and different levels of difficulty.
There are two customer service centres (one at Àger Camping and the other at Monastery of Les Avellanes) and three information points (at Os de Balaguer, Tartareu and Fontdepou).
The paths run across ravines (like the ravine of Mont-rebei), local heritage sites and high-altitude alpine spots with breathtaking panoramic views, as well as around reservoirs such as those in Canelles, Santa Anna and Camarasa, which consist of the largest flat water canoeing zone in Catalonia and make for a great natural attraction.

Signage at the sites
Direction signs: showing the direction to be followed and the circuit number, with the appropriate track difficulty colour. You will see these signs either on vertical posts or on natural elements within the landscape.
Explanatory direction signs: these are mainly found at crossroads where the track to follow is not completely obvious.
Danger signs: when you see this sign, you must take care. They are positioned to warn you that you are about to cross a stream or a busy highway.
Two-way traffic signs: a stretch of route where you may find other users coming in the opposite direction.
Site sign boards: in this case they are indicating where drinking water is.
