Montsonís Castle is a medieval fortress from the 12th century, built by the Count of Urgell to protect the territory from the Muslims. It has been passed down to the current owner, the Baron of Albí, who still lives in the castle.
You can take a guided tour during the day and enjoy the views from the tower keep. Or visit by night and enjoy a really unique experience: a theater group will accompany you on a journey back in time to the 12th century.

Montsonís forms part of the Lleida “Pueblos con Encanto” (Charming Villages) network and is a beautiful village, with cobbled streets.
